10 Days Music Festival

Nature won't be the only soundtrack in Cook County this fall. From September 8-16, guitars, drums, pianos and voices will join the North Shore's chorus of crashing waves during this ten-day celebration of music, craft and community.

With a nationally broadcast public radio show, live performances by internationally renowned and local artists, and two music festivals bookending a week's worth of arts, crafts, workshops, dining, outdoor activities and the breathtaking beauty of a Cook County autumn, the ways to participate are as unlimited as your imagination.

Festival highlights:

•  Radio Waves Music Festival,  featuring a diverse and talented line-up of North Shore musicians. (September 8 and 9, 2012)

•  Unplugged XI: The Northern Havest,  featuring performances by internationally recognized stars. (September 13 - 16, 2012)

•  Mountain Stage Radio with Larry Groce Radio Show, one the longest running live folk and roots music performance shows of its kind,  will record performances on September 13 and 14, to be broadcast at a later date.
