ARTIST TALK: IN THE LANDSCAPE AND IN THE STUDIO: MY WORKING PROCESS

April 29 |  12 pm | Location: TBD

Instructor: Holly Newton Swift

Holly Newton Swift is an artist and teacher who has exhibited her work in both private and public collections and received a variety of residencies. She is the Art Colony’s 2017 invited artist-in-residence. Holly will share about her own creative process which combines working both on-location and in the studio. The various approaches she employs have led her away from the idea of depiction and resulted in a more experiential exploration of place.

This artist talk is open to all; participants are invited to give a free-will donation.

The Grand Marais Art Colony is located two blocks up the hill from the Java Moose.
