Living & Coping with Hearing Loss

September 4 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Free
Cook County Higher Education

Do you have hearing loss? Or have a friend or loved one who does? Learn more about the most common (but least understood) disability in the world, hearing loss. Learn what a day is like for those with it, why they react to things the way they do, and what you can do to help make communication easier. We’ll also talk about practical techniques for coping with hearing loss, some basics regarding hearing technologies, and resources that are available to help.

Admission is free. Donations to help support this hearing loss education mission are welcome.
