Event Navigation

VIRTUAL event via Zoom

Show your support for the VPC by joining us via Zoom for our 10th annual LunaFest! LunaFest is a unique traveling film festival that highlights women as leaders in society. This year, LunaFest presents seven short films by women filmmakers, covering a variety of topics and ranging in genre from fictional drama to animation.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Violence Prevention and Chicken & Egg Pictures. The Violence Prevention Center is a small nonprofit located in Grand Marais, MN that works to provide advocacy for all who have been affected by domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking within Cook County, MN.

Chicken & Egg Pictures is a nonprofit organization that supports women nonfiction filmmakers.

To purchase tickets, visit our website at violencepreventioncenter.org/events.
Tickets are $60 for groups, $25 for individuals, $15 for students. A limited amount of no-cost sponsored tickets are available. Email hope4u@boreal.org or call 218-387-1262 to claim.

Tune in via Zoom at 6:30PM on Sunday, November 14. Musician Ginger Bones will be performing, guest speaker Grace Grinager of Cook County Public Health and Human Services will join us, and we will screen the seven short films featured in LunaFest’s 2021 lineup.

THANK YOU to our generous sponsors, who have helped to make it possible for the Violence Prevention Center to host LunaFest for a 10th year! Thank you: Cascade Vacation Rentals, Caribou Highlands, Wise Women, Grand Marais State Bank, Cook County Whole Foods Co-op, and Coldwell Banker. We appreciate your support!
