Welcome to the 2022 Y-Ski season!

Lessons:
Sundays from 1:30-3:00pm
January 9 – February 27
Grades K-6 or homeschool equivalent

Equipment pickup:
Sunday 12/12, 2-3pm
Monday 12/13, 5:30-6:30pm

Pincushion Chalet in the garage. Masks required. Parents will help kids fit their own boots, Chris and Anne will help properly fit skis and poles. Equipment rentals will be only for families participating in lessons, similar to past years. There will not be a rental-only program this year; that was a concession for the pandemic. Bring a deposit check for $100 per pair of skis rented – this will be returned to you when you return your equipment in April.

Volunteer coaches pay no lesson fees! We need coaches for this season. Please contact Tina in order to sign up as a coach or assistant and get your registration discount code!

In addition, this will be Tina’s last season as Y-Ski Program Director, so the search is on for someone to take over organizing/emailing/communication duties for the program. You do NOT need to be an expert skier to be the Director! This is a paid position administered by the NSSRC and is a wonderful, short-season commitment to the most popular kids’ program in Cook County. The NSSRC needs an organized and enthusiastic person to lead administrative duties. We would love to have an interested candidate shadow Tina through the process this year and learn what goes on behind-the-scenes.
