Lake Superior is the primary subject matter of Karen’s artwork. She will discuss her depictions of its waters as points of departure in the development of a painting, as well as her uses of it, which span from metaphor to emotional driver to design element. Russ writes beautiful melodic guitar pieces and John plays simple, solid bass. When John switches to guitar the music is bluesy, groovy, and soulful.
