Head to Grand Marais and Lutsen for two festivals in one weekend:

North Shore Art and Beer Festivals July 8-10


Cook County, Minn. (June 17, 2016) – Spend the entire summer weekend of Friday, July 8- Sunday, July, 10 alternating between visiting with 70 local/regional artists and drinking beer.


Friday evening marks the beginning of the 6th Annual Hopped Up Caribou Beer Festival at Lutsen Mountains, where brewers will pour more than 10 flavorful samples of cold regional beer. Starting Saturday morning, the streets of downtown Grand Marais will be lined with artists and their wares for the 26th Annual Grand Marais Arts Festival.

Approximately a dozen regional brewers are participating in the Hopped Up Caribou Beer Festival at Lutsen Mountains, about 20 minutes south of Grand Marais on U.S. Highway 61.  Beer aficionados 21+ can sample flavorful pours from the best regional brewers, enjoy chef-prepared food, and enjoy live entertainment by local Northern Minn. singer/songwriter, Timmy Haus on Saturday, July 10 at 9:30 p.m. at Papa Charlie’s.  Lodging and beer fest packages are available, as well as single-day Beer Garden tickets.  Single-day tickets can be purchased for $39 in advance or $49 at the door.
