Voters have two days left to vote Grand Marais into the semi-final round of Outside Magazine’s ‘Best Town Ever’ title

 

Grand Marais, Minn. – May 12, 2016 – Voters have two days left to vote Grand Marais, Minn. into the semi-final round of Outside Magazine’s ‘Best Town Ever’ contest.   The deadline for this round of voting closes this Saturday, May 14 at 11 p.m.

 

Grand Marais, Minn. is competing in the beach category against Ludington, Mich., and the numbers are close.  The polls are showing Grand Marais trailing with 49 percent of the votes.

 

Linda Kratt, executive director for Visit Cook County says, “Grand Marais supporters can vote daily until this Saturday, May 14 by visiting this site http://bit.ly/BestTownGrandMarais).  After you place your vote, you can immediately check the results to see how we are doing.

If Grand Marais, Minn. makes it to the semi-final round, it will compete against three other towns in one of these four categories — river, culture, beach, and mountain for the ‘Best Town Ever’ title.
