- The C.J. Ramstad/North Shore State Trail is an exciting adventure that winds for 146 rugged miles from Grand Marais to Duluth, threading through stunning backcountry.

Snowmobile Trail Grooming and Management

These epic wilderness trails cross private and public lands and are managed by local snowmobile clubs in partnership with MN DNR Grand-In-Aid programs. Local snowmobile clubs are active all winter long, sponsoring rides, contests and other events throughout the season.
