Poplar Haus is the embodiment of the Northwoods dream. We are situated 32 miles outside of Grand Marais on the historic Gunflint Trail. Poplar Haus is owned and operated by married couple Bryan Gerrard & Stacey Palmer, who decided that they wanted to be a part of the rich history of the Gunflint Trail. We have six cabins on-site, four sitting on the edge of Poplar Lake, two tucked into the privacy of the woods on our property. We have a full restaurant / bar in our lodge, with some of the finest food you will find anywhere in the North! We also have the only liquor store on the entire Gunflint Trail and keep stock of fine craft brews, domestic beers, wine and spirits! We welcome all visitors and aim to be a memorable and unique experience that our guests will want to return to with their friends and families year after year.
