The Great Place Project:

Boost your businesses' appeal with the Great Place Project! This program offers Chamber members grants of $250- $1000 for aesthetic upgrades. Imagine benches, flower pots, murals, and more! Breathe new life into your space and the community! Applications are open from April 1st- May 15th and awards will be announced by June 1st. Advocacy:

The Chamber engages with Conservation Strategies, Inc. to represent the Chamber in St. Paul for each legislative session. It is by far our largest programmatic effort. A conservative estimate would be that our efforts have played a large and frequently critical role in securing over $7 million dollars in projects and programming funding for Cook County.

Grand Marais Business Coalition:

The GMBC is a committee within the Chamber of Commerce that gathers ten times a year. This group of business leaders tackle issues that impact your bottom line, brainstorming solutions and advocating for positive change. Topics often include event planning, parking issues, public restrooms, downtown lighting, ect. Think of it as a think tank for passionate business owners-- a place to share ideas and concerns. GMBC is a subcommittee of the Chamber of Commerce that keeps the coolest smallest town in America Cool!
