Cook County Celebrates National Small Business Week
Recognizing the Grit and Dedication of Our Local Entrepreneurs.
April 27, 2026-- Cook County, MN.--National Small Business Week is coming up May 3rd through the 9th, and the Cook County Chamber of Commerce wants to take this time to say thank you to the amazing entrepreneurs and employees who keep our community running. Our small businesses are the heartbeat of Cook County. We know that being an entrepreneur here is not for the faint of heart. Between the seasonal shifts and the hurdles of living and working in this community, it takes a special kind of grit to keep the doors open. We are so appreciative of the people who wake up every day and put in the work to make our community a better place to live and work.
“We are incredibly proud of our business owners and their teams,” said Linda Jurek, Executive Director of the Cook County Chamber of Commerce. “Their hard work is what keeps this community going, and this week is about making sure they know we see that effort.”
This week is for our owners and our employees. These folks show up and give it their all to provide the services we count on every single day.
