Daily | Winter Fireplace Tour of Cook County - Cook County, MN | Enjoy the fine art of Hygge at its finest. Through the month of February, you can cozy up by a roaring fire with your nearest and dearest at some of the most spectacular fireplaces in the region.
Daily | Fiber Week at North House Folk School - Grand Marais, MN | February 11 - 17 | Wool, woodstoves, and winter weave together for a cozy week at North House. This special week-long gathering celebrates all manner of fiber arts. Featuring speakers, demonstrations, community gatherings, and coursework from long-time North House instructors as well as new guest artisans; tuck in to the warm and wooly camaraderie this winter.
Daily | Sauna at Hungry Jack Lodge - Gunflint Trail/Grand Marais, MN | Get your Hygge on at HJL's Lakeside Sauna for complimentary/FREE use during Hygge Festival! Hike nearby Caribou Rock or Honeymoon Bluff that overlooks Hungry Jack Lake. Treat yourself with a warm beverage or meal in the Loggers Lounge at Hungry Jack Lodge this Hygge Season.

Warm up by the fire with Gunflint Fireball Hot Chocolate or take in the beautiful view of Gunflint Lake while sipping on a Northern Lights Margarita. If dining in, reservations required. Gunflint Lodge also has on Friday - Tuesday's Guided Snowshoe Hikes. Open all the time: WILD ICE and Skating paths - across Gunflint Lake! When the entire path is open you can skate up to 6 miles on the outer loop visiting Gunflint Lodge, Borderland Lodge, and Gunflint Pines. Nordic Skates for rent at Gunflint Lodge. They also have ATV Tours you can inquire about - take a trip in an enclosed side-by-side with heat and learn about animal tracking or take a trip over to the access for a short hike to Bridal Falls! SLEIGH RIDES: cozy up for a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride with their Clydesdales, Heather and Hannah, as your guides! Nordic Skiing: enjoy over 70km of Nordic skiing on the Upper Gunflint Trails that are regularly groomed with a Pistenbully. ICE FISHING - book a guide or rent equipment! SNOWMOBILE: take a guided tour or rent one and head straight to the trails from the property!
